Meet Chris Bostick
Chris leads our consulting division at AutoAd. No matter how large or small your dealership is,
you will benefit from his vast knowledge, creative talent, and experience as a third-generation automotive dealer.
About Chris:
Chris Bostick was born in Oklahoma City and followed in his father and grandfather‘s footsteps. Chris’s grandfather was an Oldsmobile and Cadillac dealer in Duncan, Oklahoma where Chris was first introduced into the automobile business. Then Chris’s family moved to El Reno, Oklahoma, and purchased the Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Buick, and Pontiac dealership there. Not only did Chris spend every afternoon at the dealerships, either washing cars, working in the parts department, or sweeping the service department floors, but his best friends were also the technicians, parts department employees, and salesmen.
Growing up, the car business was in his blood and he was able to see a much bigger picture. In addition to his organically acquired knowledge of the automobile business, Chris also had formal education at General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan as well as the Northwood Institute automotive school located in Cedar Hill, Texas. If you can think of a job at a car dealership, Chris had it: from lube technician to service manager, the accounting office, and everything in between.
When it was time for him to move into a sales management role, he also handled all of the advertising for the El Reno dealership. Through his creativity, Chris was the very first business to advertise on the “big screen”. All of the Regal Cinema Theaters in Oklahoma City aired a unique and first-ever theater advertisement for the dealership. Before leaving his father's dealership in 1982, the store, under Chris’s management, achieved the highest sales volume and profitability in its history.
With a desire to expand his automotive career, Chris moved to South Florida and joined the King Automotive Group. The automotive group was selling in excess of 1200 cars per month and Chris found his niche in the finance department. Being exposed to such high volume and unique marketing, Chris went on to become a general manager of Superior Ford in Kansas City. Returning to the warmer climate of Florida, Chris joined the Terry Taylor Automotive Group and helped grow the Central Florida Chrysler, Jeep dealership, in Orlando Florida, before moving on to a Director position for the privately held Greenway Automotive Group.
Before long, Chris was given the opportunity to become a dealer equity partner in his first Kia dealership in Nashville, Tennessee. With Chris’s knowledge and background plus his personal development of an electronic desking tool called C-tell-17, Chris was able to immediately make a huge difference in Nashville. Within two years he was given the opportunity to become the dealer partner in a second store, Longwood Kia Mitsubishi, only to continue to grow his personal dealer base to two additional Kia dealerships in Nashville Tennessee.
After enjoying almost 15 years of being the operating partner of the Nashville dealerships and reaching sales volume in excess of 600 cars per month, Chris retired from the automobile business in 2019. For the past three years, Chris has been enjoying one of his passions which is drag racing motorcycles, at the highest level. Chris owns, operates, and is the driver of a very successful NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle race team. Even though traveling the quarter-mile in only 6.7 seconds at speeds reaching 200 mph is exciting, Chris missed the thrill and challenge of the automobile business. He's excited to now be a part of the AutoAd team, working with over 90 rooftops across the country.
